THE TECH - MATTRESS TICKING
Ticking is a tightly woven heavy duty outer fabric of a mattress
Quilting Foam and Fibre Fill are pattern stitched with the Fabric
Together they form the Mattress Quilting or Mattress Ticking
Fibre Fill is usually between the Fabric and the Quilting Foam
Quilt style stitching creates a contoured surface to disperse heat
We use minimal volume of Fibre Fill sandwiched in the Quilting Foam
Mattresses with less volume of Fibre Fill have a harsher less plush feel
It is a also a better representation of the true feel or Home Feel
Excessive volume of any fill will cause indentation issues
Fibre Fill is often excessive to enhance Showroom Feel
It creates a false plushness - like sleeping on a cloud
