WARRANTY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All customers must acknowledge they have read and understand the Warranty and Conditions of Purchase
Yet many fail to accept it applies to them - even though they have been informed and have signed the acknowledgement
IT IS YOUR MATTRESS CHOICE
When is a new mattress - not a new mattress
NO FREE TRIAL -IT IS YOUR CHOICE
We offer an alternative to inflated ' Free Mattress Trial ' pricing
A ' Free Mattress Trial ' is not free to the customer
Substantial costs incurred by the business are passed on to the consumer with higher prices - an exchange mattress is not free
We do not offer mattress exchange or free trials - we do offer the best price every day without inflated retail prices
The question must be asked whether a Free Trial is actually a better deal than buying a mattress without an exchange
Check the prices of mattresses that have an exchange option
Most are more than twice the price of our similar mattress
The replacement mattress cost is factored into the price
Comfort preference is a personal judgment and is NOT covered by this warranty.
The choice to pay the true price of the mattress and have the option to simply buy another mattress if you feel your first choice was too firm or too soft
We DO NOT offer a ' Free Trial ' or ' Mattress Exchange '
The issue is then what to do with the initial mattress purchase
That is discussed in THE BLOG Mattress Exchange
OUR POINT OF DIFFERENCE
We DO NOT resell reconditioned mattresses
Consider the additional conditions that apply - an expensive mattress protector must be purchased with the mattress
We DO NOT accept returns if the mattress is too soft or too firm, too hot or too heavy.
Where are all these used second hand mattresses going
Recycled - or refurbished - or resold - or sent to landfill
If they are given to charities why are there so few of these used exchange mattresses on the charity website - where do they go
We DO NOT accept returns if the mattress causes any neck, back, hip or shoulder pain or for any other health or comfort reason.
Most charity websites actually sell new low priced mattresses Little mention of second hand exchange premium mattresses
The cost of the donated mattresses is factored into the price.
1. What happens to returned mattresses?
2. Who assumes the loss of money caused by a return?
3. How to tell if a mattress is new or refurbished?
We do not offer Mattress Exchange or Free Trials
We do not accept returns for comfort reasons
The simple fact is you are paying for 2 mattresses when 'free' exchange is included in the purchase price - it is not free
Warranty claims such as the mattress is not fit for purpose solely due to comfort will be rejected
If a mattress has been used for 1 hour or 1 day it is a used mattress. If the mattress is used while in the original plastic it is still a used mattress.
You must understand what you are feeling to make an educated choice
DO NOT LIFT BY THE TRIM OR HANDLES
Lifting the mattress by the trim will result in the separation of the trim and fabric.- it is not covered by the warranty
Modern mattresses weigh up to 50 kg or more - and the expectation trim stitching can sustain the load is unreasonable
If any trim separation occurs stop lifting by the trim and
repair the stitching immediately - do not cause further damage
Further separation caused by continued lifting will result in the mattress being unrepairable - it will not be replaced under warranty
The mattress is not defective if trim separation occurs
It is simply the result of not following the correct lifting procedure
Fabric handles are to position and enable lifting the mattress from the underside - and not covered in the warranty if they tear
ALWAYS USE A MATTRESS PROTECTOR
You must use a Mattress protector at all times - non use of a Mattress Protector is unhygienic and will void the warranty
The warranty will be void if the mattress is unclean or in an unsanitary condition, or if deodorizers or harsh cleaners are used
We strongly advise to place a sheet or underlay beneath the mattress protector for increased protection
Body indentations are a result of body oils and perspiration impregnating the mattress
It results in the loss of load bearing properties of the foam and the fibre fill will compress and become unresponsive
Sheets and mattress protector must be changed regularly - Failure to maintain a clean mattress will void the warranty
